The Friends is a private, nonprofit organization that helps to support the New York State Military Museum in its efforts to tell the story of New York's rich military history and the service and sacrifice of its citizens from the colonial era to today.
Your membership dues directly contribute to the many public and educational programs the Military Museum offers throughout the year and supports new exhibit development, the ongoing care of its historic collection, and public access to its important library and archival material - all available for free.
We offer memberships for individuals, veterans, historical organizations, and corporations.
