Clarence Barry Hartman retired from the U.S. Army in September 1992 after 31 years of active duty, and retired in June 2006 after fourteen years of duty with the New York Guard.
Grew up in Williamsport, Pa; enlisted in the US Army and was later appointed to the US Military Academy.
Graduated in 1964 with a BS degree and a commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.
Posted to West Germany, and two tours in Vietnam, amongst our assignments.
Military schooling includes Ranger and Airborne Schools, the Infantry Officer Advanced Course, the Navy Command and Staff College, and the National War College, earned an MA in International Relations.
